Income inequality is at the base of most unrest throughout the world. It is no different here. The current Occupy movement sprung from the same condition; please view graph at the left.
Tax proposals by the Republican candidates would exacerbate income inequality. Regardless of your political view increasing income inequality right now should not be a high priority.
