Newly elected Trustee Mike Sidor is going to need some company on the current Arlington Heights Village Board if there is to be any chance for change. He is now with the Mrs. Mulder old guard that is responsible for saddling Arlington Heights tax payers with high excess commercial capacity during the current recession/depression.
Granted many municipalities are experiencing economic hardship. However, in Arlington Heights thanks to tax breaks (TIF’s) and ‘build at all costs’ mentality during the last 20 years we will be hurting longer and deeper than most of our neighbors. This condition can not be corrected in 2 years by one newly elected trustee.
